I’m so going take 4 modules next semester!

Looking at my horrible grades, I need to concentrate more on my studies!!!!

ARGH! What should I do?

Okay I’m like vexed over my modules I should take next year! So I”ll just post up my timetable. I’m vexed over whether I should take 4 modules or 5 modules. But I’m most definitely going to drop my COM466 (Media Writing) to take up my SOC207 (My stats module) which is my core modules for me to go into BOTH my COM and PSY modules.

However I’m hesitant in dropping SOC101 (Sociology) because there is confirm going to be a project work. And I rather take it when I know people in the class, rather than take it at a later time, but I have no friends in the class and end up with a shitty group.

OMG HOW?! Yea I still have 3 weeks to decide before school reopens, and additional 2 weeks for the add drop window. But one thing’s for sure, I’ll definitely crash PSY207 class A lecture when school starts. No doubt about it.

Apart for the random horrible birthday presents mentioned in my title, my birthday was spent rather well with the companions of Delia and NanXiao who put up despite me being an emo bitch.

Well … I suspect it’s (ahem!) the time of the month which causes such hormonal imbalance and horrible mood swing. Speaking of which … it has been late, for around one week plus. (Not that you guys need to know) I’m not particularly worried cause I think it might be all the new changes in my life that I need to adapt to (meaning school). Well, but that shouldn’t be the main topic of my blog post. >.<

I’m still hoping that my hair will fade even more. But at as long as it doesn’t turn ORANGE.

Anyway this has been a random blog post. Now some stuff about school.

1) I already have 2 projects! (Actually I have 3 since for my computer science I have to do 2 projects, but it is one after another)
2) I have a Com101 quiz the coming Monday which is like 5% of my total grade. >.<
3) I have a project meeting this coming Monday at 1.30pm till 3.30pm and also subsequently at 6pm after our lessons all end. How nice!
4) I seriously NEED to start studying. >.<

So off I am to study. Might not blog for a while, other than blogging for my communications blog which is like 15% / 20% of my grades? Might put a link soon, so you guys must try and help me create some constructive discussions there related to communications cause it is 20% of my blog grades. =.=

My UB letter from SIM arrived today. With my orientation schedule, student portal id and pw, and SIM email id and pw.

Here’s my itinerary for my ORIENTATION! Sounds boring for the morning part, though I suppose those are the impt parts.

They better not give me a grey T-shirt which my brother owns. Grey doesn’t suit my skin tone. So give me grey and I will so not join SC. RAWR! (yes I’m considering to join the UB SC … though I need to find out if they are well-loved or hated by the student pop)

Well … at least I know I’ve tried. Perhaps SMU is not for me anyway. Maybe I was meant to take up communications instead. I have inside information that I’ve been accepted to UB already. Though the official letter isn’t here yet. >.< But well … hopefully it is true. That means another 3 years with Delia Tay aka Happy Moo Moo aka Upset Monkey in the same school. RAWR! Not that I mind.

I didn’t do well for the interview. In fact I kind of screwed up. Okay I didn’t totally screw up, I just have no confidence about it. And as for my 2 US application, none got through. I REALLY WANT TO GET INTO SMU.

6 weeks to prelims = no blogging

Well, it doesn’t really mean totally no blogging. It just means less blogging, and sometimes if I am really busy, it would lead to a lack of blogging.

Anyway, yesterday was unofficial no go to school day for 15/07 and many other TJC students. It was pure coincidence and no it wasn’t planned. Guess many people were too exhausted! It is week 5 anyway! We all deserve to take a break and recuperate on our strengths.

Yes I was one of them who missed school cause I overslept and my mum told me to give school a skip since I was so tired. I heard from my mum that my dad tried to wake me up serveral times but to no avail. See, I was THAT TIRED. I even woke up late today, but rushed and made to school on time. Even early by a couple of minutes.

Well, at least the rest was good. With that rest, I was able to concentrate rather well today. Unlike on Monday to Wednesday where I was zoning out most of the time. Today was the ONLY productive day for me. I seriously need to get down to revising to catch up on my zoning out time.

TGIF! At least I can get my deserved rest for the week and start catching up on work this week end, though I shouldn’t overwork either.

6 weeks to prelims! That’s definitely NOT enough time to complete all I need to do. I need to be more FOCUSED!

Losing interest …

I am losing interest in blogging. Or rather I just don’t have anything to blog about. Remind me again how boring my life is. =.= I studied for almost the whole day yesterday. Well not exactly study. I did my Maths tutorial which is revising and I studied organic chem trying to cramp every single bit of information into my mind, but I decided it didn’t work and I shall do my own compact notes today. So I shall just blog 10 random things and go away. (Like the 10 random things is aways a method I use when I don’t know what to blog.)

1. I CANNOT WAIT FOR TOMORROW TO MEET UP WITH THE GIRLS!

2. ANTM is a joke! I love the fact that Whitney, being a plus size model, won. (But she takes more horrible photos than good photos – though her good photos are good) and Anya take so lovely photos all the time!

3. I am so in love with the 80′s rock ballads! After I heard songs playing in Sembawang on Friday I fell in love with them so I started hearing them. They are so good!

4. I am feeling rather depressed and down now … I feel that I need my dosage of WJSC!

5. My JCT results sucks! If you are wondering, I am no smart ass who gets 90 all the time and think that a 75 or 80 is bad. I am not proud to annouce that I haven’t pass a single subject. Explains why I am trying to study so hard.

6. I think I may fall in love with studying if I continue to study so hard. I have an obsession with studying after my blow of getting back my lovely results.

7. I secretly am afraid that I cannot get into a University! That’s is also why I am starting to study MORE.

8. I want to get into a US University! Cause I like the EDUCATION SYSTEM there and I don’t care about terrorist – roll eyes (well, long story about someone who squealed that there are terrorist in America) =.= I was thinking of UCLA, UC – Berkeley or NYU. Haven’t really find out information of other university though. But I definitely NEED to get a scholarship cause my family is unable to support me there, and I so CANNOT get a scholarship with my lousy results. (My mum suggest I borrow money from my aunt and I will pay back with interest after I finish my studies. And guess what? It is so that she can stay out of my debts!)

9. I love LOTR’s soundtrack! (Cause I was watching it yesterday on Channel 5)

10. I lost 3kg since I fell sick. But I feel so much more unhealthy due to the lack of exercise during the period where I was ill. Yes I know I don’t look like I lose any weight! I need to start exercising to get myself fit for the NAPFA test! And yes I am still sick. Cough only though.

I am INSANE! :D

I’ve got a fever again! It is just pretty mild @ at 37.7°C. I ain’t suffering either (other than the insufferable pain calling out from my thighs and arms due to PE yesterday after 3 weeks of being sick and hence no exercise), only feeling rather hot warm. No wonder I was shivering for almost the whole day with a slight headache and (I quote from The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe) “a sense of insufferable gloom pervaded my spirit“. I still went to eat the forbidden foods despite this due to my unawareness of my condition.

I hope the fever go away, or maybe not. Then when there is a temperature check on Tuesday, I will get sent home! Nah … I rather not. It’s barely 9 weeks till my Prelims! I can’t afford to miss ANYTHING!

I believe that my fever is due to stress from back to school and over-exerting my body during PE yesterday. I should have known better to stay away. Though I seriously need the exercise to help train myself fit enough for the NAPFA test which I am going to FAIL anyway.

I have signed up to retake my SAT I aka SAT Reasoning Test! And guess the date? 1st Nov! That’s the Sat before my A levels. Many people would say I am insane, but well, practising for SAT is practising for my GP vocabulary too. Now I am paranioa that I cannot get into a University and while I am sourcing overseas (STATES) University, I am spoilt with too many choices. Though we little with courses that I am interested in or that fit the budget. Not that I think that I can get into them anyway, but no harm trying!

By the way! I finally bought shorts! From Cotton On! I saw shorts, I tried the size and well, they fit! I am a happy girl! They were on offer too. 2 for $20! I bought a white and purple cause the rest didn’t have my size. (What do you expect from offer items?)

I seriously need to start exercising to get back into shape! Or else my body will just ache all over again after every PE lesson!

And I can’t wait for MONDAY to arrive! Seoul Garden @ TM with WJSC!

Let your hair loose … or not

The JCTs are OVER! It’s time to let your hair down and enjoy! Or maybe not.

The JCTs may be over, but school is going to set in once again. Our chemistry tutors conviniently REMINDED us to complete our tutorials (if we haven’t started) for lecture and tutorials. How nice! Plus, the school has helped us by giving us extra lesson EVERYDAY! Whee! Now we all get to go home at 5 plus everyday. That’s so lovely.

WAIT! What’s EVEN better is that I have 2 early days, Monday and Tuesday and my latest day is Thursday. And it so happens that I have extra lessons on these days expect THURSDAY! WTH! Well, actually I have lesson on every other day except Thurdays, but for the rest I don’t have to wait forever for the lesson to start.

SEE! Such a nice schedule! Now let’s see my change in ending time.

Monday from 1.20pm to 5.40pm! PLUS I have to wait 3 hours and 20 mins!
Tuesday from 11.40pm to 5pm! OMG!!!! Plus 4 hours 20 mins of waiting time!
Wednesday from 3pm to 4.20pm. Not that bad.
Thursday I END AT 4.40 NORMALLY ALREADY!
Friday from 3pm to 4pm. Not that bad too.

Well, at least I got to enjoy yesterday! Went shopping with Clem at Far East! Only bought a shirt while Clem bought 1 top and 1 top/skirt (the top can be worn in 5 different ways). My top is just a piece of cloth but I love it anyway. It is a very nature colour and very unique.

Ok it doesn’t look that bad. Looks rather nice too. Well cause it is!

But when it is spread out on my (yes i know unmade) bed, you will realise that it is sqaure!

But it is so uniqure. I love the colour, it is so nature like. And it isn’t something that you see other people wearing. It is just purely one of a kind. What’s more, it is DESIGNER! Yes, cause it is designed by a local designer. I bought it as Artiris!

This is the shirt / skirt that Clem bought. Well some sort. Hers is white with the same butterfly design as the one on my top.

If I am going for Prom, I most likely would like to get my dress here and maybe drag Clem to get it from the same shop too. I most likely will get it custom made for my size as long as it is nice and isn’t too costly! Plus the salesgirl at Far East was really friendly and helpful.

I rejected going on a shopping trip with a couple of girl fron Fifteen. They were heading to Bugis which = crowded and over populated so I skipped it. Plus I want to save up a couple of buck to go Seoul Garden / Sakura with the girls (And well, I ALREADY spent $42.20 on that NICE top). Weiting and Sockz haven’t end their exams yet, and are currently mugging their heads off @ MP library. I might be joining them for dinner later. We have decided to go out on Youth Day with is on the 7th July (the following Monday!) So the 4 of us (WJSC) can FINALLY go out TOGETHER!

FYI, I am still sick. Unfortunately! But getting much better Thank You!

Yes, it’s the talk of TJC …

TJC MARDI GRAS 2008 !!!

I should have taken more photos! There were so many people in so many different and lovely costumes. I should just accost them, telling them their outfit is cool and snap a photo with them. Haha.

So my class went as fairytale characters but we all turned out funny. We decided on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella. The evening before Mardi Gras, Delia Ellyn, Yubing, Yuhui and I stayed back after school to make our costumes. Well, we technically only made our dwarves’ hats and beards. I made the hats, Yubing pasted the coloured paper on them, while Ellyn made the beards. Delia and Yuhui had muay thai, but they helped in their various ways before going for muay thai.We continued making the costumes the day of Mardi Gras itself, but I still haven’t gotten an idea what I should wear.

I only decided what to wear on the day itself after I got home from school and after I bathed, with help from my mum on how to wear my shawl in the most effective way to scare. Basically I looked freaky and got claims that I look like Serena Joy, but I so do not! And many are scared of me.

So before photos come in, I shall list down the cast. (Although the story of Cinderella sort of failed) …

1. I bought my pair of boots! Like FINALLY!!! They are so lovely! You can ask Delia or Sock Ching. They saw!

• Delia bought a pair of shoes too. She looks adorable in them! It’s my first time seeing her wearing nice shoes. I need to go out with her more so I can see her in nice shoes.
• My boots are white. I shall take a photo of them next time I wear them.
• Now I have 2 new pair of shoes, 1 dress and 2 tops untouched. When can I ever have the chance to wear them out? I want to go out! JC life KILLS!

2. I am going to TJSB BAND CONCERT! With my date – Chun Han! We asked Gernaine dear to join us, so we have be a threesome! But Gernaine hasn’t replied.

3. I went online to find out more about the LUMP in my EAR! Turns out it is “Sebaceous cyst“. And it can be removed by surgery which I found out from some forums that it isn’t painful. Turns out that there are people who have the same problem as me! I am SAVED!

4. I forgotten to bring my Transition Metals Chem notes for lecture today. But I actually paid attention more than when I do bring my notes and end up doodling on them.

5. I have MYSTERIOUS cuts and insect bites on me. And this is getting freaky! My dad suspect that it is bed bugs on my old computer chair. But my mum says that bed bugs attack a large area, and my bites doesn’t seem that way.

6. Mondays after school from next week on will be CG 15/07 mugging session in TJ Library. All 15/07-ians are welcomed to join us then!

7. I realise that the song “No You Hang Up” by Shayne Ward reminds me of someone. Someone who taught me to love, yet someone who broke my heart. But that was ages ago…

8. I can’t believe that people are willing to sell their bodies for money … (yes random comment)

9. I have a Chem Bond test tomorrow which I am barely half way through studying.

10. My handphone is screwed. It did not receive any SMS for the whole weekend. And after I on and off my phone this morning, all the SMS come crashing in. No wonder it felt weird that my phone was quiet this weekend. Sorry to those whom I have not replied your sms. My phone is screwed!
