Shopping urges!

Have I mention burning desire to go shopping, but ironically strong resistence towards spending money?

Not that Singapore has much to shop about anyway. Everywhere you go you see the same few shops (Want me to list? Cotton on, Mango, Esprit, Fox, Levis, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop, Charles and Keiths, DMK etc.) And every branch carrys the same designs. Do go to Marina Square to equilavance to going to the New shopping mall Tampines1. Except for certain different shops that may exist like Uniqlo, which I have not been to yet since I’m not exactly fond of the crowd.

I want to go shopping! In a couple more days, my pay will arrive. And by then I will have $$$ to spend. Not that I even want to spend much nowadays. I think I’ll be going budget for the next few months. Till I can save more $$$. I ususally end up buying things I don’t even like in the 1st place. So I should just stop shopping.

1. Stop going out with Delia and Nanxiao. (THEY SPEND ALOT ON FOOD! BUDGET TO THEM = AJISEN RAMEN?!)

I am INSANE! :D

I’ve got a fever again! It is just pretty mild @ at 37.7°C. I ain’t suffering either (other than the insufferable pain calling out from my thighs and arms due to PE yesterday after 3 weeks of being sick and hence no exercise), only feeling rather hot warm. No wonder I was shivering for almost the whole day with a slight headache and (I quote from The Fall of the House of Usher by Edgar Allan Poe) “a sense of insufferable gloom pervaded my spirit“. I still went to eat the forbidden foods despite this due to my unawareness of my condition.

I hope the fever go away, or maybe not. Then when there is a temperature check on Tuesday, I will get sent home! Nah … I rather not. It’s barely 9 weeks till my Prelims! I can’t afford to miss ANYTHING!

I believe that my fever is due to stress from back to school and over-exerting my body during PE yesterday. I should have known better to stay away. Though I seriously need the exercise to help train myself fit enough for the NAPFA test which I am going to FAIL anyway.

I have signed up to retake my SAT I aka SAT Reasoning Test! And guess the date? 1st Nov! That’s the Sat before my A levels. Many people would say I am insane, but well, practising for SAT is practising for my GP vocabulary too. Now I am paranioa that I cannot get into a University and while I am sourcing overseas (STATES) University, I am spoilt with too many choices. Though we little with courses that I am interested in or that fit the budget. Not that I think that I can get into them anyway, but no harm trying!

By the way! I finally bought shorts! From Cotton On! I saw shorts, I tried the size and well, they fit! I am a happy girl! They were on offer too. 2 for $20! I bought a white and purple cause the rest didn’t have my size. (What do you expect from offer items?)

I seriously need to start exercising to get back into shape! Or else my body will just ache all over again after every PE lesson!

And I can’t wait for MONDAY to arrive! Seoul Garden @ TM with WJSC!

I went for dinner with Sockz and Weiting @ MP before heading to PP to walk around.

I ended up shopping quite a bit. Here are my purchases :

A lovely lip butter from The Body Shop that cost $10.90. It smells so good! Weiting bought it too! So *ahem ahem ahem* (inside joke!)

Eye shadow from SaSa. I love the bronze colour! I saw something similar colour in Wisma which has 4 palettes and cost around $26 so I didn’t purchase cause I was contemplating, but now I can’t seem to find that colour anymore. Anyway, this eye shadow palette is better! It has so many more other colours!

Bigger pair of shorts!!!

I am opening a plead!

Does anyone know where I can

purchase shorts which are suited for

girls / women with a heavy bottom?

OK, if you don’t understand that question, it means that I need to get plus size shorts! I don’t seem to be able to find shorts in my size! Cause my thighs are HUGE! (Shut up you skinny bitch who think YOUR thighs are huge, come look at mine!) The only shorts I can fit into are FBTs (which I can fit into I believe any size)! Cause they have elastic bands and they flare out unlike other shorts with are (not straight cut) but sometimes rather small at the ends.

Yes I am admitting my flaws of being FAT! Or most would choose to say Full Figured. (Though I think my curves are rather distorted cause I seem rather disproportionate in my body shape but that’s not the point) But who cares! I mean America’s Next Top Model is Whitney Thompson! A plus size model, which I think she is more a normal and healthy model rather than plus size. She looks BIG in ANTM cause everyone else around her is stick thin! She is a size 10 I think. And that’s like the line between plus size and not. I love Whitney, don’t you? But I think dark hair suits her more. Blonde on her brings out the stereotype of a dumb blonde. I think I’m a size 10 too. Or maybe bigger. But my thighs are definitely huge!

So anyone knows where to get shorts. Shorts I mean above knees and not knee length. Somewhere a little longer than FBT shorts like somewhere mid-thighs. I really don’t know where to get them. Every place seem to sell clothes the size of Clementine and Weiting (one slim, one petite = size 0).

Let your hair loose … or not

The JCTs are OVER! It’s time to let your hair down and enjoy! Or maybe not.

The JCTs may be over, but school is going to set in once again. Our chemistry tutors conviniently REMINDED us to complete our tutorials (if we haven’t started) for lecture and tutorials. How nice! Plus, the school has helped us by giving us extra lesson EVERYDAY! Whee! Now we all get to go home at 5 plus everyday. That’s so lovely.

WAIT! What’s EVEN better is that I have 2 early days, Monday and Tuesday and my latest day is Thursday. And it so happens that I have extra lessons on these days expect THURSDAY! WTH! Well, actually I have lesson on every other day except Thurdays, but for the rest I don’t have to wait forever for the lesson to start.

SEE! Such a nice schedule! Now let’s see my change in ending time.

Monday from 1.20pm to 5.40pm! PLUS I have to wait 3 hours and 20 mins!
Tuesday from 11.40pm to 5pm! OMG!!!! Plus 4 hours 20 mins of waiting time!
Wednesday from 3pm to 4.20pm. Not that bad.
Thursday I END AT 4.40 NORMALLY ALREADY!
Friday from 3pm to 4pm. Not that bad too.

Well, at least I got to enjoy yesterday! Went shopping with Clem at Far East! Only bought a shirt while Clem bought 1 top and 1 top/skirt (the top can be worn in 5 different ways). My top is just a piece of cloth but I love it anyway. It is a very nature colour and very unique.

Ok it doesn’t look that bad. Looks rather nice too. Well cause it is!

But when it is spread out on my (yes i know unmade) bed, you will realise that it is sqaure!

But it is so uniqure. I love the colour, it is so nature like. And it isn’t something that you see other people wearing. It is just purely one of a kind. What’s more, it is DESIGNER! Yes, cause it is designed by a local designer. I bought it as Artiris!

This is the shirt / skirt that Clem bought. Well some sort. Hers is white with the same butterfly design as the one on my top.

Some designs I like

If I am going for Prom, I most likely would like to get my dress here and maybe drag Clem to get it from the same shop too. I most likely will get it custom made for my size as long as it is nice and isn’t too costly! Plus the salesgirl at Far East was really friendly and helpful.

I rejected going on a shopping trip with a couple of girl fron Fifteen. They were heading to Bugis which = crowded and over populated so I skipped it. Plus I want to save up a couple of buck to go Seoul Garden / Sakura with the girls (And well, I ALREADY spent $42.20 on that NICE top). Weiting and Sockz haven’t end their exams yet, and are currently mugging their heads off @ MP library. I might be joining them for dinner later. We have decided to go out on Youth Day with is on the 7th July (the following Monday!) So the 4 of us (WJSC) can FINALLY go out TOGETHER!

FYI, I am still sick. Unfortunately! But getting much better Thank You!

Shopping with the besties!

TC camp was within expectations – and I don’t have a high expection of the camp. So, go figure.

This post will be quite long, but there will be some pictures.

Shopping today was fruitful!

The Great Singapore Sale is Here!

Whoots! Countless shopping trips … but … I’M BROKE till next month! And my mom cannot give me an advancement of my allowance unless I am willing to accept like 200 $1 dollar coins! So I’m left with barely $15 dollars left for the last week of this month. So I can’t go and SHOP till I drop. Well, I can wait till near the end of The Great SS to get better discounts, though I most likely will get bad and ugly goods.

Anyway, here is my shopping list! :

FINE! This is NOT my shopping list. This is just nice clothes and shoes (very expensive shoes) which are sort of the style which I fancy and might get similar styles if I see them and like them after I try them on. This season, I’m going for a more colourful style of brighter colours. No more black for me.

So here is my REAL shopping list:

1. A white cropped jacket (similar but nicer than the black jacket at the bottom left of the picture)
2. Dresses! (Perhaps 1 – 2 nice ones)
3. A jacket with a hood / Pullover (if I see any CHEAP ones)
4. A pair of canvas shoes.
5. Shorts
6. A pair of long boots.
7. Denim skirt
8. Another pair of shoes (for going out) I can’t help myself, I love shoes!
9. A clutch perhaps! (like I have been wanting to get it for ages but still haven’t)
10. Make-up!!! I need more eye shadow and I might advance to using fake eyelashes.

I believe that I won’t even get half of the items on my shopping list. I might just get a dress and a pair of shoes. And my allowance will be spent on food cause my plan to go Seoul Garden with WJSC and my Sakura buffet meal which I wanted to go with 15/07, still has not be carried out. I shall try and save up on food.

GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! HERE I COME!!!

Satisfied shopper! :D

1. I bought my pair of boots! Like FINALLY!!! They are so lovely! You can ask Delia or Sock Ching. They saw!

• Delia bought a pair of shoes too. She looks adorable in them! It’s my first time seeing her wearing nice shoes. I need to go out with her more so I can see her in nice shoes.
• My boots are white. I shall take a photo of them next time I wear them.
• Now I have 2 new pair of shoes, 1 dress and 2 tops untouched. When can I ever have the chance to wear them out? I want to go out! JC life KILLS!

2. I am going to TJSB BAND CONCERT! With my date – Chun Han! We asked Gernaine dear to join us, so we have be a threesome! But Gernaine hasn’t replied.

3. I went online to find out more about the LUMP in my EAR! Turns out it is “Sebaceous cyst“. And it can be removed by surgery which I found out from some forums that it isn’t painful. Turns out that there are people who have the same problem as me! I am SAVED!

4. I forgotten to bring my Transition Metals Chem notes for lecture today. But I actually paid attention more than when I do bring my notes and end up doodling on them.

5. I have MYSTERIOUS cuts and insect bites on me. And this is getting freaky! My dad suspect that it is bed bugs on my old computer chair. But my mum says that bed bugs attack a large area, and my bites doesn’t seem that way.

6. Mondays after school from next week on will be CG 15/07 mugging session in TJ Library. All 15/07-ians are welcomed to join us then!

7. I realise that the song “No You Hang Up” by Shayne Ward reminds me of someone. Someone who taught me to love, yet someone who broke my heart. But that was ages ago…

8. I can’t believe that people are willing to sell their bodies for money … (yes random comment)

9. I have a Chem Bond test tomorrow which I am barely half way through studying.

10. My handphone is screwed. It did not receive any SMS for the whole weekend. And after I on and off my phone this morning, all the SMS come crashing in. No wonder it felt weird that my phone was quiet this weekend. Sorry to those whom I have not replied your sms. My phone is screwed!

Half day of school = A whole day of fun

TJ declared a half day for us TJ students yesterday, and we ended at 11.40! Which is not much a difference to me since I only missed the last period of my day. Why can’t they put it on Thursday instead? Then I’ll miss half of my day. Well, but it’s better than nothing.

So the class wanted to go Mind’s Cafe, but settled on The Settlers cause it is nearer. But we reached and found out that IT CLOSED DOWN! Hence we went to Astons for lunch instead. More than half of Astons is filled with TJC students! The food is not bad, quite cheap prices too. (As compared to outside) Our table of 5 people amount to a lump sum of $51.80. If I were at some place else, 4 people would amount to more than $70!

We then went to Parkway to have a walk. I didn’t see anything I like until we almost left Parkway and it was on discount with nice clothes. Well, I bought a dress and 2 tops. Now almost half of my Wardrobe is from that shop, since I already bought a dress, 2 tops and a pants from there last year. Well, the clothes are nice. Sadly I couldn’t try them on since they were having a discount. I feel like going back to grab more clothes! It is so worth it during the discount! =D

Seriously, I’ve been spending too much this month! I can’t go out until the next month. Planning to go Safra’s Sakura! NANXIAO! =D Oh yar, Nanxiao bought the same dress as me! But I think she’s look better in it as compared to me. Hers is a nice green and mine is grey. I love 15/07! We need more outings! Just not this month anymore. No more cash to spare! I’m almost broke!

I’m so glad Farah finally is going to get our T-shirts done! Now I just have to scan in the designs and send it to her. =D It’s going to be green with MY design. Whoots! =D

Forgetting the worries…

For now I shall forget the worries and blog about happier stuff. OK I may have random complains of work but I assure you that I won’t go so EMO that you run away at the sight of my post. =D …
